Can I use a Shimano 11-speed crankset on a 12-speed drivetrain?
Better not. Shimano 12-speed cranksets (Hyperglide+) have chainrings with a tooth profile and chainline tuned for the 12-speed chain. An 11-speed crankset can run in a pinch but isn't guaranteed: for clean shifts and durability, use a crankset of the same speed as the drivetrain.
