Is the SRAM 12-speed AXS chain (Flattop) compatible with a Shimano 12-speed drivetrain?
No. SRAM Flattop is a proprietary chain (taller, with different links) designed for SRAM 12-speed AXS road groupsets and the XDR cassette. It is not interchangeable with the Shimano 12-speed chain (HG+), nor with SRAM Eagle 12-speed MTB, nor with Campagnolo 12-speed.
