Campagnolo freehub body
Which freehub bodies a Campagnolo wheel takes and how to choose the right one for your cassette.
Available freehub bodies
- Campagnolo N3W
- Shimano HG (8–12s)
- SRAM XDR
- Shimano Micro Spline
How to choose
Campagnolo → N3W (or splined body on older wheels); Shimano → HG; SRAM road 12s → XDR; Shimano 12s MTB → Micro Spline.
⚠️ Mind the model
N3W accepts Ekar 13s and the new wireless 12s DIRECTLY; the 'classic' Campagnolo 11/12s cassettes (11T start) require the AC21-N3W adapter. Older wheels: a retrofit kit is needed.
No N3W→Shimano/SRAM adapters: for Shimano you switch to the HG body, for SRAM to the XDR body.
