How to choose
Shimano road 12s cassettes (Dura-Ace/Ultegra/105/GRX) mount on the existing HG road 11s body, NOT on Micro Spline. Micro Spline = 12s MTB only. Never Campagnolo cassettes.
⚠️ Mind the model
Dura-Ace WH-R9270 uses the HG L2 body (12s only); Ultegra WH-R8170 uses HG 11s (accepts 11s and 12s). GRX RX880: HG L2 or Micro Spline depending on the cassette.
