Can I fit a SRAM XDR cassette on an XD driver?
No. The XDR driver is 1.85 mm longer than the XD driver (SRAM's official figure): an XDR cassette (road) is built for that extra 1.85 mm, so on a shorter XD driver it overhangs and can't be tightened properly. For an XDR cassette you need an XDR driver. Note: the reverse does work — an XD cassette fits on an XDR driver by adding a 1.85 mm spacer (see the dedicated rule).
